Rest Paves the Long Road Ahead
Holiday
Holiday? Bro, wake up and get to work. You thought you were getting a day off? Absolutely not. Watch this!!
Nah, don't be that guy. It's a holiday, everyone has their own pace. But today, I was going cycling. Cycling has become one of the things I enjoy doing outside of coding. It gives me a reason to get away from the screen, explore new places, and spend a few hours doing something completely different.
A New Road
Nothing special. Just a new road. Sometimes that's enough. A different route, a different view, and a little change from the roads I usually ride. I just Arrived and they turned off the lights, perfect timing. It was dark, so it was too scary to take a photo.

Finally, Sunrise
The road was quiet, the air was cool, and the morning slowly started to brighten. I thought taking a new road meant I might have a chance to take the KOM(fastest man on the segment). Nope, apparently around 400 people had already passed through this road. No wonder I ran into a few other road cyclists. One loop was around 6.5 km, so I ended up doing 3 loops.

My Bike

And, of course, this is the bike that got me through the ride. The color is a chameleon, it can be purple, blue, or green. This time, it's blue or purple??. I honestly don't even know how to photograph it properly because the color keeps changing depending on the light and the angle.
Understanding the Ride Data

If you're not a cyclist, these numbers might look a little confusing. Here's what they actually mean.
Power — How Hard You're Pedaling
Power is measured in watts (W). Think of it as how much effort you're putting into the pedals. The harder you push, the higher the number.
Heart Rate — How Hard Your Body Is Working
Heart rate is measured in beats per minute (bpm). It tells you how hard your body is working during the ride.
Cadence — How Fast Your Legs Are Spinning
Cadence is measured in revolutions per minute (rpm). It tells you how many times the pedals complete a full rotation every minute.
Rest Paves the Long Road Ahead
The title comes from 18×2 Beyond Youthful Days, a movie that stayed with me. I liked the idea of using the line for this ride because it fits the mood of the day. It's a reminder that sometimes you need to slow down, take a break, and enjoy where you are before continuing on the road ahead. So, for this ride, it felt like the perfect title.
